He’s Literate

Reading is one of the few things that keeps me sane in this world. I’ve found books to be surprisingly useful for many of life’s situations. If I’ve got a question, I grab a book. If I’m dealing with an acute bout of insomnia, I grab a book. If I need a salve for boredom, I grab a book. And if I want that cute gal eyeing me from across the coffee shop to think I’m a “high-value man” who went to Harvard, I grab a book. Here’s a list of a few of my recent reads.

  • Four Thousand Weeks

    Oliver Burkeman

  • Money: The True Story of a Made-Up Thing

    Jacob Goldstein

  • Strangers in Their Own Land: Anger and Mourning on the American Right

    Arlie Russell Hochschild

  • Alchemy: The Dark Art and Curious Science of Creating Magic

    Rory Sutherland

  • The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion

    Jonathan Haidt
